We’re temporarily relocating to W.E. Landing Marina, 304 Front Street, Nanaimo on select dates in 2026 to accommodate a cruise ship. These dates include September 5, and October 9.

The temporary terminal is an outdoor area with no shelter, so guests are advised to come prepared for the day’s weather conditions.

Please allow extra time to travel to the Temporary Terminal.

Getting to the Temporary Terminal

Guest Experience Agents will be stationed around the Temporary Terminal to help provide directions on the day. A friendly reminder that gates close 5 mins before departure.

Driving

The closest parkade is Harbour Front Parkade
Parking is also available at the Hullo Nanaimo Terminal on 100 Port Way, Nanaimo
From the Hullo parking lot, guests can take the complimentary shuttle to the Temporary Terminal. Shuttle service runs all day

Get dropped off / picked up

Follow the orange signs to the Hullo Shuttle and passenger pick-up/drop-off area near the Bus Exchange on the corner of Port Drive and Front Street
It’s about 500m from the Drop-Off Area to the Temporary Terminal, following the green signs on foot
Please do not drive down Promenade Drive – local traffic only
No access to the BC Ferries Gabriola terminal for parking and/or pick-up/drop-off for Hullo guests

Please note: On the dates listed above, not every sailing departing Vancouver will arrive at the Temporary Terminal. Depending on operational requirements, some sailings may continue to arrive at our regular Nanaimo Terminal at 100 Port Way, Nanaimo. We recommend checking our Current Conditions page before your trip to confirm where your sailing will arrive.

Reminder: This is a temporary relocation for the above dates only, as a cruise ship will be using our regular terminal spot on the day. The Hullo Vancouver Terminal will not be affected on this day.

We will operate from our regular spot at the Hullo Nanaimo Terminal, 100 Port Way on all other dates.
