Get to know our marine leadership

Sean Poole, Chief Operations Officer

At the helm of our operations is Master Mariner Sean Poole. With 18 years of experience working on cruise ships, drill ships and in shipyards, Sean brings an incredible amount of knowledge and skills to the Hullo crew.  

He’s successfully led a fleet of 130 marine assets and spearheaded the design and construction of a state-of-the-art simulation centre – just to name a few of the amazing projects he’s worked on! 

Sean’s committed to helping mariners advance their careers and currently sits on the Board of Directors at BCIT’s Alumni Association.  

Working in the marine industry almost seems like fate for Sean, with four generations of mariners in his family starting with his great-grandfather. 

With his outstanding contributions to the maritime industry, we’re proud to have Sean lead the crew in delivering a safe, reliable, and friendly ferry service to all guests.

About our Vessels
