Hullo is a ferry service that connects people between downtown Vancouver and Nanaimo in a formerly impossible 70-minute trip. A new initiative of the Vancouver Island Ferry Company (VIFC), Hullo is fresh, bold, and exciting, while still staying rooted in established business practices and honoring age-old traditions.

Partnerships with Snuneymuxw First Nations
Hullo is honoured to have a long-term partnership with Snuneymuxw First Nation (SFN). Hul’q’umi’num’ names, spuhéls and sthuqi’, were graciously gifted to Hullo’s two vessels by SFN. Hullo remains committed to respecting the lands and waterways of the Snuneymuxw people and acknowledging that our service operates in territories of Coast Salish Peoples.
